Ratsstuble in Waldshut-Tiengen

This time, not all of our guests liked the apple cake. The plum cake and the Black Forest are highly recommended. Two pieces were wrapped incorrectly. I had chosen the chocolate cake. A quarter of a fruit cake asked and there was only one piece in the box. So just keep track of what is being packed. Overall, the Ratstüble and in Tiengen the Oberle are our favorites in WT.

The cakes / pies are very good. The service upstairs unfortunately a disaster. At first the order was not taken, then the coffee came before the cake. After 10 minutes we were told that there were no more Linzers. 2 people had the cake and the third had to wait at least 10 minutes for it ... no apology came either. When we wanted to pay the bill came after more than 30 minutes, since only all the others were served again. Everyone in front of us was also collected. It's a shame. My recommendation: take the cake home with you.

Very good cappuccino, friendly staff and a sweet view from the window. Very busy on Sundays.

Very tasty and high quality cakes and tarts, with a lot of choice. Always like to go to the Ratsstüble for dessert. Not so for other meals, but they specialize in dessert. Always well attended, i.e. sometimes a bit longer waiting times, but still worth it.

Wonderful place for deep conversations with friends. Great variety of cakes, coffee and tea. Very helpful and friendly staff. My friend and I spent three hours talking and were never nudged to get going.

Very fine coffee, fine cakes, cakes, pastries, also fine dishes for lunch and dinner. Also great in good weather outside and the view of the Kaiserstrasse ....

The upstairs indoor seating is comfy and cosy. The dessert options and shakes are good as it should be in a cafe/confectionery/pâtisserie
